Meet season runs after dark — lights, stance and sound that still read at 8pm
In season nowHalloween lands in the darkest fortnight of the car calendar, so the upgrades that matter are the ones you can see and hear once the light has gone: lighting you can actually see with, a stance that reads from across a car park, and a note that pulls people over before they have seen the car. Do them in that order. Everything below is fitment-verified against your exact model, and the legality checker tells you what an MOT tester will say before you spend anything.
Standard lamps go flat at night, which is when most car parks are at their least flattering. Complete LED or projector headlight units and modern rear lights are the upgrade people notice first, and being E-marked and correctly aimed they still pass the test.
Gloss black grilles, splitters and badges work because they repeat a finish the car already has. Smoking the lamps themselves is the cheap route with a real cost: light output drops and the tester can record it as a defect.
A 30 to 40mm drop changes the car more than a wheel swap does, and it decides which wheel and tyre sizes will clear the arches afterwards. Settle the ride height, then run the numbers through the fitment calculator.
A cat-back system draws a crowd before anyone has seen the car. Keep the catalyst fitted so it still passes the emissions test, and keep the volume inside the limits of the venues you visit.
Send your registration or VIN and we will confirm the exact part for your car before you order.
