Road legality & MOT

Left-hand drive / right-hand drive headlights, read before ordering

Headlights are drive-side specific. A left-hand drive (LHD) set and a right-hand drive (RHD) set can look identical and bolt on the same way, but the dipped beam pattern is shaped to point away from oncoming traffic on the road the car was built for.
UK-legal headlamps must dip to the left and must not dazzle oncoming traffic. A beam pattern shaped for left-hand drive roads will aim into oncoming traffic here, and headlamp aim and pattern is checked at MOT, so it is likely to fail.
Check the description and photos for a drive-side note before ordering. If it is not stated, send us your vehicle details and we will confirm which drive side this set is built for.

A pair of LED daytime-running-light style headlights for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220 (10/1998 – 08/2005), finished in black. The position light is a bright, evenly lit white LED strip in a modern DRL design, set behind a DE lens with a chrome-vapour reflector for a crisp Xenon look. Headlight and indicator are built as one sealed one-block unit, so they swap straight in for the originals using the factory plugs — genuine
