Which Porsche models is this do88 plenum compatible with?

This plenum is specifically designed for the Porsche 911 Turbo (996) and the 997.1 Turbo models manufactured between 02/2004 and 07/2008.

Do I need to purchase a separate throttle body for this upgrade?

Yes, this plenum is designed to work with the 997.1 Turbo throttle body (part number 99760511500), which is not included in the kit and must be sourced separately.

What is the performance advantage of the Y-shaped design compared to the OEM plenum?

The Y-shaped design is flow-optimized via CAD simulations and testing to provide superior airflow compared to the more restrictive T-shaped OEM plenum, leading to improved engine performance.

Does the kit include everything needed for installation?

The kit includes the plenum, necessary installation accessories, and two silicone hoses compatible with both the do88 Performance Y-pipe and the OEM Y-pipe, but it does not include the required 997.1 throttle body.

What materials is the plenum constructed from?

The plenum is manufactured from high-quality cast iron tubing featuring CNC-machined fittings for a precise fit and a smooth interior surface to ensure optimal air delivery.
