What is LJ-Automotive Store?

LJ-Automotive is the premium shopping experience for high-performance aftermarket automotive parts including LED Headlights / Rear Lights, Coilovers lowering suspension, Universal Bucket Seats and body styling upgrades.

Are these headlights compatible with all VW T5 models?

These headlights are specifically designed for the VW T5 Facelift (T5.1) models produced between 11/2009 and 06/2015, including the Bus, Caravelle, Panel Van, Transporter, and Multivan variants.

How difficult is the installation process?

Installation is designed to be user-friendly with a 'plug & play' setup using original connectors, meaning no complex modifications are required.

Do these headlights come with the necessary bulbs?

Yes, the package includes the required bulbs as a complimentary gift, and they are ready for installation right out of the box.

Are these headlights suitable for use in the UK?

These units are LHD (Left Hand Drive) beam alignment, which means they are intended for European roads. UK buyers should be aware of potential beam pattern incompatibility and import tax regulations.

What are the main performance benefits of these LED headlights?

These headlights offer significantly brighter lighting through modern LED technology, improved road safety, and an integrated, high-quality U-Tube daytime running light with R87 approval.

Road legality & MOT

Left-hand drive / right-hand drive headlights, read before ordering

Headlights are drive-side specific. A left-hand drive (LHD) set and a right-hand drive (RHD) set can look identical and bolt on the same way, but the dipped beam pattern is shaped to point away from oncoming traffic on the road the car was built for.
UK-legal headlamps must dip to the left and must not dazzle oncoming traffic. A beam pattern shaped for left-hand drive roads will aim into oncoming traffic here, and headlamp aim and pattern is checked at MOT, so it is likely to fail.
Check the description and photos for a drive-side note before ordering. If it is not stated, send us your vehicle details and we will confirm which drive side this set is built for.

This set is listed as left-hand drive (LHD). It will fit and work, but the dipped beam is shaped for right-hand traffic (mainland Europe), so it is not for UK road use as supplied. Message us before ordering and we will source the right-hand drive equivalent for your car.
