LJ-Automotive is the premium shopping experience for high-performance aftermarket automotive parts including LED Headlights / Rear Lights, Coilovers lowering suspension, Universal Bucket Seats and body styling upgrades.

Will these LED rear lights fit my BMW 5 Series?

These lights are specifically designed for the BMW 5 Series Sedan (Type: F10) from 03/2010 to 02/2017, including the M5 (S63) models within those years. Please ensure your vehicle matches these specifications.

Are these lights easy to install, or will I need professional help?

These are designed as a direct replacement with plug-and-play functionality using original connectors. While most installation is straightforward, an additional wire for the turn signal needs to be run to the tailgate. Illustrated German instructions are included, and installation is estimated to take around 1 hour. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable with basic wiring.

Do these lights have the E-mark for legal road use?

Yes, these LED rear lights come with an E-mark, meaning they are approved for road use in Europe and do not require separate registration.

What are the benefits of upgrading to these LED tail lights?

These lights offer a modern look for your BMW 5 Series and provide superb brightness thanks to their LED technology, potentially improving visibility and safety.

Where are these lights manufactured, and what is the warranty?

These lights are genuine FK Automotive products, sourced from their supplier in Germany. While the description focuses on shipping details, please refer to the seller's specific return policy for warranty information. The item is described as brand new and boxed.

Road legality & MOT

Left-hand drive / right-hand drive tail lamps, read before ordering

Tail lamps and rear light clusters are drive-side specific too. Most sets are a direct fit and road legal in the UK, but the lens layout can differ between left-hand drive and right-hand drive cars.
The difference is usually where the reverse light and the rear fog light sit. UK MOT rules require the rear fog lamp on the offside (driver’s side) or centrally mounted, and reverse lamps must work, so an overseas layout can fail until the bulb holder or wiring is moved.
Check the lens layout in the photos, or send us your vehicle details and we will confirm the fog and reverse lamp positions before you buy.

This set is listed as left-hand drive (LHD). The lens positions are laid out for a left-hand drive car, so the rear fog and reverse lights may be on the wrong sides for UK MOT. Message us before ordering and we will confirm the exact layout.
