Are these headlights compatible with my BMW X5 E70?

These headlights are compatible with BMW X5 E70 models produced between 02/2007 and 03/2010 and the X5M (E70) between 07/2009 and 08/2013, provided the vehicle does not have cornering lights.

How difficult is the installation process?

The installation is straightforward as they are designed as a direct plug-and-play replacement using the original connectors, meaning no complex modifications are required.

Are these lights suitable for right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles?

No, these are Left-Hand Drive (LHD) European spec headlights and are intended for countries that drive on the right side of the road.

What is included with the headlights?

Each set includes two headlights with integrated turn signals, all necessary installation hardware, and a complimentary set of light bulbs for immediate use.

Road legality & MOT

Left-hand drive / right-hand drive headlights, read before ordering

Headlights are drive-side specific. A left-hand drive (LHD) set and a right-hand drive (RHD) set can look identical and bolt on the same way, but the dipped beam pattern is shaped to point away from oncoming traffic on the road the car was built for.
UK-legal headlamps must dip to the left and must not dazzle oncoming traffic. A beam pattern shaped for left-hand drive roads will aim into oncoming traffic here, and headlamp aim and pattern is checked at MOT, so it is likely to fail.
Check the description and photos for a drive-side note before ordering. If it is not stated, send us your vehicle details and we will confirm which drive side this set is built for.

This set is listed as left-hand drive (LHD). It will fit and work, but the dipped beam is shaped for right-hand traffic (mainland Europe), so it is not for UK road use as supplied. Message us before ordering and we will source the right-hand drive equivalent for your car.
